Dr Prashant Kittur

Dr. Prashant Kittur is a qualified orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon practicing in Hubballi, Karnataka. 

Educational Background:

After completion of MBBS from J.N.Medical College, Belgaum (year 2000-2006), Dr. Prashant joined Seth G.S.Medical College and KEM Hospital which is considered as one of the prestigious medical institutes in India where he completed his masters degree in Orthopaedic Surgery. Following completion of MS (Orthopaedics) he worked in one of the BMC run Municipal Hospital in Santa Cruz Mumbai, V.N.Desai Hospital for one year which is a high volume trauma centre. Later Dr.Prashant joined Seven Hills Hospital Andheri as Clinical Associate in Orthopaedics and worked under guidance of greats like Dr. V.J.Laheri a reputed Spine and Joint Replacement Surgeon in Mumbai. In the year January 2014 Dr. Prashant joined Sunshine Hospital, Hyderabad as a Fellow in Joint Replacement Surgery & spent a year in learning the tips & tricks of Joint replacement Surgery Under the guidance of Dr.A.V.Guruva Reddy known as one of the legends in the field of Joint replacement. In Sunshine Hospitals Dr.Prashant got exposure to great volume & quality in joint replacement surgery After completion of his fellowship he had a little stint in Pune’s prestigious Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital as observer for joint replacement Surgery under the guidance of Dr.Hemant Wakankar.

After all this vast Exposure to field of Joint replacement Dr.Prashant joined Suchirayu Hospital as full time Consultant in Joint replacement Department.

Suchirayu is the first of its kind modern corporate Hospital in whole of North Karnataka boosting state of the art infrastructure in the form of modular operation theatres with laminar airflow system, Tertiary care level ICU’s with dedicated intensivists attending critical patients around the clock.
